CDG EXPRESS – The project linking Gare de l’Est to Paris’s main airport

The ‘CDG EXPRESS’ project involves creating new tracks in the heart of Paris linking the Gare de l’Est to Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport. The aim is to relieve existing traffic on the RER B and reduce road traffic, thereby contributing to the sustainable development of the region and its economic attractiveness. The journey between the airport and Gare de l’Est will take just 20 minutes. Work began in March 2019, with commissioning scheduled for 2027.

Directly commissioned by SNCF Réseau, Feroway provides rail safety services relating to risks to rail traffic, as well as those relating to electrical risks. This enables the various works companies (ETF, TSO, Eiffage, Alstom, etc.) to operate in complete safety when carrying out their assignments. Feroway works alongside ETF’s Catenary teams to ensure the safety of the different areas of the site, day and night, from Monday to Sunday.

  • Manual traffic announcements (Announcer)
  • Sealing off tracks to protect work areas from traffic (APS9)
  • Guiding Lorry self-propelled vehicles (APLAM)
  • Drilling of the basic sections to be protected as part of the work (Electrical protection)
